Introduction
This Service Policy constitutes a legally binding agreement (the “Agreement”) between you and Maiditup LLC (“Maiditup,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) that governs your access to and use of our services, website, and any other platforms (collectively, the “Maiditup Platform”).
By booking a service with Maiditup through any means, including but not limited to our website, email, phone call, text message, or in-person, you agree to the terms outlined in this document. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use or access the Maiditup Platform.
Definitions
- Client: Any person or entity that books cleaning services through the Maiditup Platform.
- Cleaner: An independent contractor providing cleaning services via the Maiditup Platform.
- Service: The cleaning tasks performed by Cleaners as booked by Clients through the Maiditup Platform.
Our Role
Maiditup provides a platform for customers seeking home cleaning services (“Clients”) to connect with independent service providers (“Cleaners”). Maiditup is a facilitator and does not provide cleaning services directly. Each booking constitutes a separate agreement between the Client and the Cleaner.
Service Provider Relationship
As a Cleaner on the Maiditup Platform, you acknowledge that you are an independent contractor, not an employee of Maiditup. This relationship does not create an employment, partnership, or agency relationship. Cleaners have complete discretion over when, where, and how they provide services, and they are responsible for their own expenses and taxes.
Non-Solicitation
Clients agree not to directly hire or solicit Cleaners for services outside of the Maiditup Platform. If a client wishes to hire a Cleaner directly, a referral fee of $1,200 will apply. Upon payment, Maiditup will relinquish all responsibilities related to the management and performance of the Cleaner.
Service Limitations
The following tasks are outside the scope of Maiditup services:
- Heavy lifting or moving of large furniture.
- Carpet deep-cleaning or stain removal.
- Repairs or handyman tasks.
- Outdoor cleaning, such as gutter cleaning or yard work.
- Mold removal and remediation.
- Any tasks that require specialized training or equipment not provided by Maiditup.
Cancellation Policy
Maiditup reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee of $50 for cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment. This fee also applies if a Cleaner is unable to access the premises or if the necessary utilities (power, water) are unavailable.
Guarantee and Refund Policy
Maiditup offers a satisfaction guarantee. If you are not satisfied with the service, please notify us within 24 hours, and we will arrange for a re-cleaning at no additional charge. Claims for property damage or theft must be reported within 72 hours of the service.
Communication
Effective communication is crucial for maintaining service quality. Cleaners may need to use their phones during cleaning for work-related communications. If you prefer minimal phone usage, please inform us in advance.
Right of Refusal
Maiditup reserves the right to refuse service for any reason, including but not limited to:
- Inaccessibility to the property.
- Unsafe conditions.
- Frequent cancellations.
- Rude or inappropriate behavior towards staff or Cleaners.
Liability Disclaimer
Maiditup shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the Maiditup Platform or services provided by independent Cleaners.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Maiditup, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, actions, suits, or demands, including without limitation reasonable legal and accounting fees, arising out of or related to your use of the Maiditup Platform or your violation of this Agreement.
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising out of or related to this Agreement, or the Maiditup Platform shall be resolved through mediation or binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall take place in AZ, and the arbitrator’s decision shall be enforceable in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Changes to the Agreement
Maiditup may modify this Agreement at any time. Any changes will become effective upon posting on our website. Continued use of the Maiditup Platform or services after any modifications indicates acceptance of the new terms.
Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of AZ, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Severability
If any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue to be valid and enforceable.
Eco-Friendly Practices and Product Use
At MaiditUp, we are deeply committed to promoting eco-friendly cleaning practices to ensure a safe and healthy environment for both our clients and our contractors. We encourage the use of non-toxic, environmentally-friendly cleaning products that align with our company’s values.

Preferred Product List: We provide our contractors with a list of recommended eco-friendly cleaning products. These products are carefully selected based on their effectiveness, safety, and environmental impact. While our contractors are independent and may choose their own products, we strongly encourage the use of those from our preferred list to ensure the best results for our clients.

Client Requests: Clients who prefer or require the use of specific eco-friendly products can make this request when booking a service. MaiditUp will make every effort to match clients with contractors who adhere to our recommended product list. Please note that while we strive to meet these preferences, the final choice of products used remains with the contractor.

Transparency and Commitment: We understand the importance of using safe, non-toxic products in your home or business. Although our contractors are independent, we actively promote eco-friendly practices and work closely with those who share our commitment to sustainability. Clients can trust that we prioritize their safety and the environment in every aspect of our service.

Optional Eco-Friendly Contractor Program: For contractors who are particularly aligned with our eco-friendly values, MaiditUp offers an optional “Eco-Friendly Contractor Program.” Contractors who participate in this program voluntarily agree to use only the products from our recommended list and may receive additional benefits, including priority job assignments and recognition in our marketing efforts.
