What is included in a standard cleaning?

How do I schedule a cleaning?
You can request service through our online booking form or contact us directly. We’ll gather the details we need, confirm the best service for your home, and help you choose a schedule that fits your needs.

MaidItUp proudly serves Gilbert, Queen Creek, Chandler, Mesa, Tempe, Scottsdale and surrounding East Valley communities. If you’re unsure whether your home is within our service area, reach out and we’ll be happy to confirm availability.
How much does house cleaning cost?
Pricing depends on the size of the home, number of rooms, the condition of the space, and the type of cleaning needed. Deep cleaning, move-in or move-out service, and short-term rental turnover are priced differently than recurring maintenance cleaning. The best way to get accurate pricing is to request a quote based on your home and service needs.
How long will the cleaning take?
Cleaning time varies depending on the size of the home, its condition, and the type of service requested. Because MaidItUp typically sends a team of two or more trained professionals, most homes are completed much more efficiently than if a single cleaner were working alone.
Do I need a Deep Cleaning before starting recurring service?
If your home hasn’t been professionally cleaned in the last 30 to 60 days, we usually recommend starting with a Deep Cleaning. This gives us the opportunity to tackle buildup and detail work first, then maintain that level of comfort and peace of mind with recurring service.
Do you offer weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly service?
Yes. We offer weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly recurring cleaning. Bi-weekly service is the most popular choice for many of our clients because it provides a strong balance between upkeep and convenience. Weekly service is also a great fit for larger households, busy families, and homes with pets.
What should I do to prepare my home before the cleaning?
We simply ask that surfaces are reasonably accessible so our team can focus on cleaning rather than organizing personal belongings. Picking up items like clothing, toys, paperwork, or dishes helps us provide the most thorough and efficient cleaning possible.
Are your cleaners employees or independent contractors?
Our cleaners are trained, background checked employees, not random independent contractors. We believe that matters when it comes to consistency, accountability, and the level of trust you should feel when inviting a cleaning company into your home.

Are your cleaning products safe for pets and families?
Yes. We use professional, eco-friendly products selected for both effectiveness and safety in homes with pets and families. We also offer a fully natural cleaning option using ingredients like vinegar, baking soda, and plant-based cleaners for customers who prefer it.
What if I have pets?
We’re comfortable cleaning homes with pets and understand how important it is to use products and methods that support a safe, comfortable environment. If there’s anything we should know about your pets before the visit, just let us know when booking.
Do I need to be home during the cleaning?
No. Many clients are not home during service. As long as we have an agreed-upon way to access the home, we can complete the cleaning while you’re away.
Do I need to provide cleaning supplies or equipment?
No. Our team arrives with professional supplies and equipment, including microfiber and color-coded cleaning systems, along with products selected specifically for residential cleaning. You do not need to provide anything. However, some clients prefer that we use their own products or tools in certain areas of the home, and we are always happy to accommodate that preference.
What if something is missed during the cleaning?
If something is missed, please let us know within 24 hours of the service. Our goal is always to deliver a professional result, and we will work with you to address the concern and make it right.
What if I need to skip or reschedule a recurring cleaning?
We understand schedules change. If you need to skip or reschedule a recurring visit, simply reach out as early as possible and we will do our best to accommodate. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment are subject to a $40 cancellation fee.
